My group was "hired" by a chemical engineering firm that designs custom non-Newtonian fluids — slime. We identified our problem and solution, built our engineering design process, created and tested our slime, then developed and presented a marketing pitch.

Bridge Over Troubled Water
Working as a disaster-response team, we designed and built a rapidly deployable bridge to help victims escape and supplies reach those in need — lightweight, strategic and functional, despite limited supplies, a weight limit, and height/length constraints.
